Following up on last week’s post about the guest from Singapore,

we had the Circle the Island Tour on the second day.

In about four hours, we explored many of the island’s highlights.

We began at the impressive Great Road Cut,

where layers of volcanic history are clearly visible.

We walked from one end to the other, taking our time to observe along the way.

Next was Sa-no-Hama Beach,

where he enjoyed the black sand beach, something you won’t find in Singapore.

At Habu Port,

we took in the peaceful harbor scenery from the lookout point.

Then we took a walk through the peaceful harbor town, filled with a nostalgic atmosphere.

We then visited Kakihara Iso,

a stretch of coastline featuring artistic rock formations created by volcanic activity

which is visible only along the shore.

At the Ura Sabaku Desert

we were lucky to see Mt. Fuji across the sea,

and couldn’t help cheering at the stunning view.

One of the most anticipated spots, Senzu Pass Cut lived up to expectations,

and although it was a bit windy,

Nodahama Beach offered a clear view of Mt. Fuji as well.

Once again, we were reminded that this island is filled with incredible scenery,

perfect for photography.

In the evening, the guest enjoyed stargazing,

capturing many different expressions of nature throughout his stay.
